    HOSPICE SERVICES OF WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS
    Hospice care is about not giving up….it is about hope for people
    facing a life-limiting illness -- hope of living their lives free of pain,
    without fear and in the company of family and friends.  The emotional
    and spiritual support we provide to patients and their families is
    greatly enhanced by the help of our volunteers.  Our volunteers assist
    in a variety of ways including: reading, sitting quietly with a patient,
    assisting with errands or chores or administrative work in our offices.
    The rewards of caring and sharing are beyond measure.  For more
