Hello everyone - My name is Amy Whicher and I have been working in the administrative and accounting fields for over 15 years now. I have worked for a one-person CPA all the way up to a corporate setting of thousands. Now, I am honoring my desire to work for myself and YOU!
One of my passions is learning and continuing my own growth. Over the years, this passion has attracted me to all things holistic, the alternative healing arts, anything eco-friendly, the energetic realms, feng shui, numerology (I do my own blueprints for businesses and people), crystals (I make my own line of energetic pieces), anything from nature and certainly all animal loving energies, as well as anything which shows us how grow and be spirit in human form!
I participate in numerous classes to continue my own growth, always questioning with an open heart and mind. I am also a client of various healing arts for almost 10 years now. I know it is part of my purpose to “connect” the right people and things and one way I can do this is to help with the skills I have amassed over the years in bookkeeping. I would love to help spiritually minded businesses thrive and do their best work! It is my passion and purpose to creatively express myself while raising the collective vibration of love and fostering an awareness of conscious connection for all living things to honor the light that they are! Right now, a piece of this is using my analytical skills so hopefully I can help you!
My experience and skills include but are certainly not limited to:
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Processing, Bank Reconciliations, dealing with state and federal agencies on filing reports, year end 1099/1096 and W2/W3 filings, quarterly payroll reports, etc. I am detail-oriented (read anal!), have excellent communication skills (even with a bit of sarcasm here and there), organized, professional and fun-loving (yes – you can have both). Complete Confidentiality is a basis for my work which in all seriousness comes from my work ethics as well as from over 15 years of processing payroll.
I would love to assist you in growing your business with my bookkeeping and admin skills. If you are getting bogged down in the details, there is a better way so you can really focus on what you love to do.
I offer a free consultation to assess what you are looking for, be it an hour a month or daily if needed. I also have references that are available upon request. I live in Portsmouth, NH and am willing to travel for the right match, but would really like to keep my travel time to under 45 minutes. I have clients that I do the work from my home and some from their office, some from their home office. I use Quickbooks Pro right now and am versed and have used Peachtree for over 5 years. I use Excel for some people! My rates vary depending on the work needed, from $35 to $50 an hour.
